The successful person must be competent in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, & Windows Explorer and have the technical ability to quickly learn the varied accounting programs we use.
Ideally you will have some bookkeeping experience.
This is a challenging and diverse role, that requires an organised, adaptable and efficient team member with a willing, can do attitude – no matter what the task. The role requires a candidate who is able to work unsupervised from time to time, and who is accountable for the work completed.
The ability to communicate clearly with the sole practitioner, team members and clients on an ongoing basis in a sometimes busy and demanding work situation, without becoming flustered is a must.
Attention to detail in preparation of word & excel documents, and compiling information to be forwarded to clients including the ability to self review and pick up your own errors is an important attribute.
Commitment to the role and a desire and ability to complete all tasks (not just the easy ones) in a timely manner, is another must have attribute. If you procrastinate then you are not the right team member for us.
Filing including organising client files and administration files (paper and electronic), is a big part of the role.
